Update #3 - Crestview Water System Improvements

The City’s contractor, Wildstone Construction and Engineering Ltd., is completing upgrades to the existing booster station. These interruptions are necessary to support ongoing improvements and maintenance work to the local water infrastructure, which will help ensure continued safe and reliable service.

What to Expect:

• Possible fluctuations in water pressure
• Temporary water service interruptions of short duration
• Possible access issues or disruptions on Cache Place and Rainbow Rd. for upgrades to infrastructure.
• Residents will be advised 24 hours in advance of any other interruptions (access, water shutdowns) in advance of said work.

When:

Work is scheduled to occur intermittently over the next several weeks. Specific dates and times will be communicated in advance wherever possible.

What You Can Do:

• Avoid running water during the interruption periods (between 10:00pm – 6:00am)
• Store an adequate supply of water for drinking and household use during planned interruptions
• After service resumes, run a cold-water tap for several minutes until the water clears
