Help shape Whitehorse's Housing Action Plan
Whitehorse recently completed a Housing Needs Assessment, a detailed study of who lives here, what housing exists, and what's missing.
The Housing Action Plan is the City's response. Residents are encouraged to provide input into the plan by completing a survey. The survey shares key findings from the Housing Needs Assessment and asks what you think of some of the ideas the City is exploring. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous.

Public Webinar
The City completed a Housing Needs Assessment, published in January 2026, to better understand Whitehorse's current and future housing needs. The Housing Action Plan will build on this work and identify actions the City can take to help address housing challenges and support a wider range of housing options.
On October 1, the City hosted a webinar in partnership with Cityspaces Consulting to introduce work conducted so far and provide an opportunity for feedback on the proposed Housing Action Plan framework and next steps.
