Amanda Taylor Memorial Trail

Organization or society
Contagious Mountain Bike Club

Purpose of proposed trail
Memorial connector trail in memory of Amanda Taylor who was a CMBC volunteer and PMBIA Mountain Bike Coach. She was very devoted to the mountain bike community in the Yukon, particularly through coaching kids. The trail is a year-round connection between Bouncing Bunny and Reimer Reason.

Brief description of proposed trail or any work planned
The trail is a generally flat/undulating connector trail from Bouncing Bunny to Reimer Reason. Bouncing Bunny/Two Burnt Trees have no connectivity to the winter groomed trail network, and the trail will allow passage for winter trail grooming of these trails. It will also allow single-track access to Bouncing Bunny/Two Burnt Trees. At current, riders are forced to ride the ski trails to get to the Bouncing Bunny trailhead. All work will be done by CMBC volunteers and Amanda’s community using hand tools. Minimal tree clearing is required.
