Hillcrest paving update + Transit impacts

The intersection of Summit Road and Roundel Rd is scheduled to be closed starting on Monday, July 20 until Tuesday July 28 for paving.

During this time Transit stops on Sunset Drive North will be temporarily closed and buses will detour up Hillcrest Drive, around Park Lane, and return via Hillcrest Drive.

The Sunset Drive North intersection with Roundel Rd will be closed for one day between Friday, July 24 to Tuesday, July 28 for paving. Once the exact day is known, a minimum of one day in advance of the closure, the City will notify local residents directly.

Roundel Road remains closed while the contractor completes final grading. Asphalt paving on Roundel is currently scheduled for July 25 to 26, followed by driveway and boulevard restoration work.

Please follow traffic detours and construction control signage and ensure no vehicles are parked on the road or near the intersection. Please use designated off-street and alternate parking areas.

Please note that asphalt paving is weather dependent. As a result, scheduled paving dates may change if weather conditions are not suitable.
